If I were the average age and physical condition of the patrons in the casino I would have a tough time with the entrance and egress of that tub! Lower tub sides and/ or a separate shower/ tub combo would probably go a long way in mitigating slip and fall lawsuits. That tub is hard for the average joe to get in and out of due to the high sides, and you must climb in and out of that thing to take a shower! Now imagine a night of gaming and drinks. I was glad when the neighbor decided to get up at 5am, finally restful sleep! The bathroom has a huge luxury tub/ shower. I packed everything up and went downstairs to change rooms and was told (very politely) that there were no more non-smoking rooms. My neighbor was snoring like a freight train, and the walls are very thin, so tough to get some sleep.
Not a bad thing, just a reality of having a huge casino.
My room was clean, and had a nice view of the roof of the vast casino. While touting itself as a luxury type resort, the Aliante is really another neighborhood casino with some 'luxury' amenities (spa, large tub in room, concierge, etc) that you pay $12 to have access to.
